Description: Explanted ceca of an E6 chicken embryo on a fibronectin-coated petri dish, GDNF (glial-derived neurotrophic factor) added to the medium (DMEM - Dulbecco's Modified Medium), the cells that have RET receptor, which is the receptor of the GDNF ligand migrated to the higher concentration. The image was taken with a laser scanning microscope, Zeiss LSM780.
