Description: i3Neurons (integrated, inducible, and isogenic) derived from stable integration of neurogenin-2 transcriptional factor into a safe-harbor locus in induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) under a doxycycline-inducible promoter. Clonal isolation and differentiation of these cells provides close to 100% conversion to glutamergic neurons that can be used to model neurodegeneration in frontotemporal dementia. Confocal fluorescence image represents MAP2 labeling of these neurons at 5 weeks invitro.
